Before taking the helm at BTI Inspection Service, Bill’s career journey was filled with diverse roles and responsibilities. He worked as a Senior oilfield equipment operator and facility maintenance expert from 1988 to 1990. Following that, he served as a fire loss coordinator from 1990 to 1993, further refining his skills and expertise. Bill then returned to his roots as a senior oilfield equipment operator from 1993 to 1999.

 

In 1999, Bill transitioned into the role of facilities and project manager, where he honed his leadership skills and gained valuable experience. After a successful career in this capacity, he retired briefly before reentering the field as a contract project manager in 2006, a role he continues to excel into this day.

 

Present-Day Expertise

 

Today, Bill is the owner of Bill Thomas, INC., where he serves as a Contract Owner’s Representative and Project Management expert in Commercial and Industrial Inspection. At BTI, Bill takes on a multifaceted role, directing, coordinating, estimating, and controlling all aspects of construction projects. He provides these services as an owner’s or builder’s representative, ensuring that every project he takes on is a resounding success.

 

Bill is not just about execution; he’s a visionary leader who spearheads concept and financial development for project completion. He excels in team development while overseeing all aspects related to a project’s delivery. Additionally, Bill is skilled in preparing Project Master Plans (PMPs), Project Execution Plans (PEPs), project status reports, managing budgets and cost tracking, all while prioritizing safety and adhering to contract specifications.
